"Connected" - This collage of photographs, screen printed on paper, captures recent movements for justice and symbolises our interconnectedness. It highlights attempts by those in power to disrupt unity while underscoring the importance of standing together against such forces. The inclusion of archival clip art figures adds another layer of meaning, pointing to the commodification of art and raising questions about how creative expression can both resist and reframe such structures.

The City Speaks - screen print on paper - Berlin has a long history of protest, and its walls tell those stories—graffiti has always been the voice of the people, a way to claim space, resist authority, and express collective desires. Inspired by this energy, I digitally collaged images of some of Berlins graffiti and protests and screen printed them. For the lettering, I applied a split fountain technique to reflect the shifting vibrancy of the city’s streets. I incorporated collage elements to build texture and collaborated with a framer so that the mount became part of the composition itself. Through this work, I wanted to honour Berlin’s radical spirit and the way its urban surfaces speak of struggle, solidarity, and imagination. The piece also reflects my own ongoing exploration of collage, printmaking, and material experimentation as tools for amplifying community voices.
